| Summer is seen in the midst of Winter! |
Many know of the opportunity to come up to JOY over the Fall, Winter & Spring seasons with weekend retreats of various kinds... but there is one in particular that brings the summer right along with it... the JOY Youth Reunion. Today marks the close of the Reunion Retreat 2010... and as I write the united voices in worship rise from the W.E. Belch Centre and break the silence of this north end of Faraday Lake, proclaiming praise in recognition of our saviour Jesus Christ. For the staff who are here all year, it is a great reminder of the summer past and the one to come. It seems that the building itself comes to life with the fun and energy that is a summer at JOY Bible Camp.
With the summer on our minds... applications are coming in for cabin leaders and staff positions and we'll be eager to see more as there is much in the works for 2010, including our first leadership development program set to run August 1 to 21st for 14-16yr old girls and boys. Watch for big updates on this website for details as we draw closer to the summer.
This website is undergoing another facelift, and this time a hear transplant is planned along with it, so it's going to be BIG! We won't have to announce when it happens... you'll all know!
Don't forget the Women's and Men's Getaway retreats coming April 23-25 and May 14-16 respectively!
