For over 60 years, Joy Bible Camp has existed for the purpose of introducing people to Jesus Christ and encouraging them in their relationship with Him. All of our facilities and programs are designed to serve that purpose, in the beautiful natural setting that God has blessed us with.

Retreat packages include meals, accommodations, and a meeting room with equipment. Additional fees may apply for activities supervised by our staff - price details outlined below.

Minimum group size is 30, maximum about 200. Exceptions to minimum may be made when another group is already booked.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
We have several different styles of motel units:
Lakeside Lodge - 3 units with living room, bedroom and four-piece bathroom - sleep up to six; 6 rooms with queen bed and room for cot, 3-piece bath - sleep 2-3; 'Infirmary' - 2-bedroom, wheelchair accessible suite with 3-piece bath
A Motel - 6 units with two bedrooms and three-piece bathroom, sleep up to six
B Motel - 20 single-bedroom units with two-piece bathroom and easy access to the men's and ladies' shower house. 10 rooms with double beds; 10 rooms with twin beds.
C Motel - 10 dormitory-style units with a small room for counsellor or parents with double bed and single bunk on top; larger room has five sets of bunk beds. Shared washrooms (one women's, one men's) are located at the end of the motel unit, and the men's and ladies' shower house are located a short distance from the motel.
Hillside Lodge - 8 rooms with bunks, 2-piece bathrooms; suitable for youth groups or families. Building houses about 48 people.

AMENITIES:
Meeting Rooms: Our main chapel can seat up to 300 people, or can be divided to create a more intimate space for smaller groups. It has a stage, sound system, computer with power-point capability, LCD projector, screen, and a limited number of mikes and music stands. Our staff will be ready to help you get set up for your audio-visual requirements. Lakeside Lodge has a large meeting room for a second group of up to 60 people, also with sound board, piano, keyboard, LCD available.

Dining Facilities: Our dining room can accommodate up to 240. The quality, plentiful meals are served buffet style in air-conditioned or heated comfort.

Gymnasium: A two-court, heated gymnasium, with volleyball, basketball, shuffle board, ping-pong and floor hockey capabilities. Also in the building is a meeting room we call our "seminar room" which has a piano and sofas providing a comfortable meeting or games area for about 20-30 people.

Outdoor: You will have access to a basketball court, 18-hole mini-golf course, beach volleyball, shuffle board, horseshoe pits, baseball diamond, soccer field, children's playground, bocce ball, 'putt pool', and our new 9-hole Frisbee Golf course. We also have marked nature trails for hiking or cross-country skiing. Geo-caching is available year-round, finding hidden 'treasures' with our hand-held GPS units.

Seasonal: Shallow swimming area with sandy beach, canoes, paddle boats, kayaks, pontoon boat tours - mid-May to mid-October; ice skating, broomball, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tubing hill available in winter as snow conditions permit.

Other Facilities: We also have a large lounge with a double-sided fireplace and tuck shop; campfire pit with seating for 80-100 people. Board games, crokinole, foosball, and our Monster Dutch Blitz game also available.
